This presentation looks at the early development of air classification for the mineral and cement industries. Looking at the basic principals and the development of the technology driven by the demands of the mineral industry for higher efficiencies and finer grades.
It also looks at the 21st century new industries that are driving further technology development to service non mineral air classification and discuss the challenges encountered in this change of application.
Finally it looks at where future research and development may lead in the future.
